To The People Who Gave Me Life

Welcome to the first post of Featured People.
Everyone has the heard that people come into your life for a reason. We don't always know what that reason is or if it will be a good impression or a life lesson. I figured that I would give shout outs and dedications to the many people that have been in and out of my life throughout my 21 years of life. For the people who left a good impression on me, I will call them out by name because I would like for them to know how they changed my life for the better. For the people that left a sour taste in my mouth and gave me a life lesson on people, I will not be calling out by name because it would be rude to speak so publicly of them. Since this is the first post though, I decided that it should be about my creators, a.k.a. my parents.

To my dad. As a little girl my dad was basically my favorite person, but that's usually the case with most little girls. We had many great adventures together while I was a child living in Italy. During our time in Italy, we would go on hikes by the rock fixtures near my house. When moving back to America, my parents eventually divorced so time with my dad was sparse. I would see him about every other weekend, but we still managed to have our fun adventures. My dad is basically the reason I found out about my love for writing because he also enjoys the craft. He is a good person who has taught me some great things.

To my mom. My mom and I didn't always have the closest relationship, and that's sometimes how it is between a mom and daughter. Even though we weren't very close though, she taught me so many valuable life lessons. She made sure I knew the importance of working hard not only in school but in life as well. I understand the significance of quality over quantity from her which is probably why I won't buy any fake designer things. She is also the only person I know that is amazing with saving money, a trait that I obviously did not inherit. I may not be as successful in my life as I would like, but I am still making something of my life and I owe that to her. I probably would not have survived my first year out of the house if I hadn't paid some attention to how my mom handles finances.
Thank you to both of my parents for everything you have done for me, and continue to do for me.
